A plain fabric shade gives light but very little character after dark. This lamp has a domed shade pieced together from small panels of coloured glass, so the pattern lights up from the inside and throws warm colour across a desk, sideboard or bedside table. The sunflower design mixes orange, amber and green in a leafy pattern, while the baroque version uses cream, red and gold scrolls. Both stand on an ornate base with an antique bronze-tone finish.
