Rust Dome Table Lamp – patina iron, dome shade, two lights

Product description

A dome of rusted iron that looks like it was dug up, and lights a room like it was designed to.

A table lamp made from iron with a patina finish, so the surface is mottled in rust, copper and brown rather than painted one colour. A wide dome sits on a plain cylinder, the sort of shape you see in Italian design from the seventies, and the finish gives it the look of stone or weathered metal. Two E27 sockets under the dome throw light down and out, so it works as a real light on a console or a bedside, not just as an object. It comes with an in-line switch on the cord and an Australian plug.

The details that matter

• Patina finish. Real oxidised iron, so the colour shifts across the surface and no two lamps are quite the same
• Dome shade. A wide 30 cm dome that directs the light downward onto the table and outward across the room
• Two lights. Two E27 sockets, so it puts out enough light to read by
• In-line switch. A switch on the cord, no fumbling under the shade
• Australian plug. Wired for Australia, 240 V, double insulated
