Product description
A pendant that looks like a drop of molten metal caught mid-air above the table.
A plain dome shade does its job, but it rarely gives a dining room anything to look at once the meal is over. This pendant has an irregular, softly folded acrylic globe with a mirrored metallic coating, so the shade reflects the room by day and glows from within when the bulb is on. The uneven surface scatters the light into warm ripples across the ceiling and table. Hang one on its own or group several colours at different heights for a cluster over a long table.
What this molten shade brings to a room
- Organic shape: no two angles look the same, which keeps a plain ceiling from feeling flat.
- Mirrored finish: the metallic coating picks up the colours of the room when the light is off.
- Four tones: smoke grey and silver for cooler schemes, red and gold for a warmer glow.
- Two sizes: the 18 cm shade suits a kitchen island or desk, the 28 cm one a dining table.
- Standard E27 fitting: works with ordinary screw-in bulbs, including LED bulbs.
