Most ceiling fittings are built for a living room and look oversized anywhere else. This one is the size of a cupped hand, which is what a hallway, a landing or a small bedroom actually needs. The walnut and beige finish reads as furniture rather than as a fixture, and the glow is soft enough to sit under in the evening.
